start looking for closeouts now
Start shopping the closeout Christmas sales now for gorgeous holiday ball ornaments… so you can hang these wreaths all over your house next year! Eddie Ross (of Top Design fame) has a simple tutorial on his website for their creation — so go find a wire hanger STAT! If only these guys were a little easier to store in boxes…
I think I’ll be on the lookout for nice looking plastic ornaments just to ensure their survival year to year… or else I have a feeling I might pull a pixie-sized disaster! (look below)

I *love* those wreaths! And thanks for the hot tip — I had to unsubscribe from Eddie’s blog ’cause he bugged me so badly in Top Design, but he really does have some great project ideas….

NEAT! What pretty gifts this would make… finally, a use for all that extra floral wire I have sitting around from some other random project I never finished :)

I’m in a super hurry and can’t blog it yet, but I’m so excited that I have to show it to someone who cares! Here’s mine (that I just did today):

Thank you SO much for this awesome idea! I found ornaments at Safeway marked down 75% ($3.95 for 16 ornaments!)…I got excited just to try it out. I could still see a little of the wire hanger (I used a white one, which made it extra noticeable) so I used some tinsel that came with the ornaments to disguise it. I’m so freaking excited. I just had to show you! Thanks so much again!!

Oops, forgot to hit the followup comments button :)

That last picture makes me want to cry!! So much work went into the wreath and it is so sad, lying there shattered on the floor.
Those are just beautiful. I’ll have to try this out after Christmas. :)
