lazy weekend mornings at the zoo

Along with being passholders at my hometown Aquarium, we are now proud local Zoo members as well! Because, there’s really no better way to start a lazy Saturday or Sunday than a trip to see the animals with Miss L.

She adores the giraffes, especially because you can get nice and up close with them.

And catching the chimps at snack time is always fun. Miss L and chimpanzees have very similar snacking habits and methods!

And staring at the super pink flamingos never ever gets old.

After our trip at the zoo ends, we usually go and grab brunch/lunch and perhaps run a few errands as well. Nothing too crazy, but a fun way to get out of the house by 10am for a purpose, some fresh air, and lots of fun with the animals.
