little sheets of wood
My wooden (birch) postcards arrived in the mail yesterday and are all ready for a bit of gocco embellishment as my future moving announcements.
Right now… Mr. M and I have been debating the need for an envelope when we send them. They seem quite sturdy, are thick enough to mail, but he had a vision of splinters and broken pieces with the mailing machines. If that’s the case though… the design would need to be modified significantly, since it’d only need to be on one side.
So… do you think I should ensure their safety and buy them an envelope? Or test run a couple through the mail?

I think the design sounds beautiful! Give it a test run before you change it!

I stamp the back of mine with a postcard design, I think people have mailed them without envelopes and haven’t had problems.
Mind if I ask where you purchased them? I’ve tried so many different kinds and can’t stray from Night Owl Paper Goods…

I got these through MintPromotions.com. I, too, was looking for the Night Owl postcards… and I think I found them? ;)
These are white birch cards as well.
