peanut butter jelly time
Mr. M’s IM basketball team started up on Sunday… and of course they needed to come up with a uniform of some sort. I passed on the Jiffy Shirts link for him to sort through, and the next day 18 oatmeal and purple shirts arrived. Somehow they were perfect for a team called “Peanut Butter Jelly Time.”
So, with simple ‘manly’ decoration orders in hand, this is what the uniform became. I simply took the famous little banana and made a Dark T-shirt transfer logo for the back of the shirts.
But the shirts needed numbers, so I called upon my freezer paper to help me out.
Step 1: Cut out pieces of freezer paper into 8.5″x11″ sheets to fit in the freezer. Print out design on the “non-waxy” side of the paper
Step 2: Cut out design using an exacto knife.
Step 3: Iron freezer paper stencil onto t-shirt. Iron another sheet of freezer paper behind the design on the reverse side of the stencil.
Step 4: Ink up the shirt and let it dry!
Step 5: Peel off the top stencil. Heat set the ink. Peel off the back stencil.
Step 6: Wear with pride!

you make me want to try stenciling with freezer paper now! that’s so cute that memphis likes to eat sand. charlie likes to eat pebbles and dirt right now. sigh :)

Ooh…. pebbles and sand… so rought on a puppy’s tummy! But you should realize try the freezer paper – it’s so easy!
