baby buying spree: crib bedding

.
The challenge: find a “neutral” crib bedding set that was fun, bold, and would stay with the tropical theme that was starting to be built by Mr. M in the nursery (remember… I have no creative say in the decoration per my choice to keep the baby’s sex a secret). I’m not going to say this was an easy task, since most baby bedding is pastel and very gender specific, but after realizing a couple of options were still “too light” … the decision to buy this Cocalo Couture’s BALI bedding set was easily made.
.
After ordering online (from justkidsstore.com — free shipping/no tax to the rescue once again!), we were still hoping that it would work in the room, as the plan is to only paint half of the room and keep the remaining wall color there. Well, let me just say that it works absolutely perfectly with both the wall color and the furniture in the room! Now we just need to take the fabric to get some color matched paint, and things will really get moving in the room!

Super cute! We had a tough time with that with Charlie, since he was an unknown too. Everything was pastely (gag me!)…I think y’all chose well! I really like the colors. Reminds me of the new stroller I got!

Love it! I think I’ve seen that set at Goore’s and it’s always the one I still linger over. I’m sure Baby M will love it. All the geometric patterns are sure to delight!

You have seen it at Goore’s! :) Teddy bears are all 2010… and they’re soo cute… but it’s just a lot of brown and neutral for me!
