If you love reading the newest books on the market, try reading the books BEFORE they hit the market via NetGalley.com. Sign up for an account, and you’ll be able to read (or make a request to read) books from publishers MONTHS before they’re released! AND you can download them to your iphone or KINDLE for easy reading! Thanks to a few publishing friends, I get preview copies of books sent to my house a few times a year, but now I can just go online and grab them! They even have great craft/cook books to try out, and you can leave reviews for the publisher to see as well.

I really really want to make pumpkin soup and curried butternut squash soup. I’m just not a great soup chef, but I think I’ll try anyway.

It’s time to sign up for Round 25 of Operation: BAKING GALs! They also need more nominations for soldiers to send to… so if you have a loved one overseas that loves cookies and sharing cookies with friends, then go ahead and nominate them!

Need a last minute gift for someone and you’re tired of gifting the obligatory bottle of wine? Try gifting them with either the book, Booze Cakes, or just with one of the creations inside. I myself would much prefer a cake filled with alcohol to just the alcohol itself!

Thanks for the info on the pre-published books. That’s pretty cool! Didn’t care for the video–too strange for me–but at least the vaccination message is good.
