another long drive…

Two long retreats (& long drives to the east & south bay) this week have left my brain in a state of mush. At least I got to enjoy another amazing sunset as I drove home. As I passed over the river and canals, my breath faded away a bit, and I realized why I have a need to live so close to water. It’s all about the way that water bends the light and, in turn, paints the land and sky. I think I’ll try and get home a couple minutes early from now on, take my camera, and exploit it’s “sunset” mode.

What a great way to start a weekend…
