#birthdayfest2015 : NUTRI Ninja Auto-IQ Blender
I got Mr. M a Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ Blender for Valentine’s Day this year. And while a replacement kitchen appliance might not seem like a lovey-dovey type of gift, this one was coming from a place of pure love.
You see, Mr. M had started a habit of meal replacement smoothies over a year ago. And as the smoothies became more and more apart of his daily routine and habits, our old blender started to rebel against even the softest of fruits. And so… he would sit in the kitchen… shaking and tossing and otherwise breaking all reasonable blender laws in an effort to simply mix protein powder, water and a banana. Anything more complicated than that, and you’d just smell the electronic motor burning as it hummed. Each simple smoothie became more of a pain than a gift, and the time it took to mix them just seemed to extend infinitely.
I looked into all of the blender options available and all of the various prices and models. There was no way I could stomach paying $500+ for a high-end kitchen gadget, especially one that didn’t fit on my counter. And the smaller blenders had reviews that were so varied I just couldn’t trust them. But when I spotted the new Auto-IQ models of the Nutri Ninja Blenders, I couldn’t find anyone saying anything negative. And that is how it ended up on our kitchen counter.
When I told Mr. M about the Auto-IQ functions, he was highly skeptical. Push one button “Ultra Blend” and it does all the work for you? No need to turn it on/off or pulse it? HA! But he was willing to take a risk and try it out.
Let’s just say he stood there to watch it… and smiled with amazement. And when he took a sip?
“I think this might be the best smoothie I’ve ever made!”
If I can recall, it was just strawberries, banana, water and powder. But the aeration and mixing did the magic, with a little help from 1000 fresh watts of power!
Super power aside, the best feature of the blender is the giant blender cups that go up to 32-ounces in size!
Throw in your ingredients – Pop it on – “ULTRA BLEND” – Pop it off – Drink – Wash
You should see what it does when you want to blend drinks with ice! Or make milkshakes! Seriously… this blender is a real gift! Did I mention it totally fits on the kitchen counter?
Needless to say, we would purchase another Nutri Ninja® Auto-iQ™ Blender without any hesitation at all and have been recommending it to all our friends since February.
And since it’s #BirthdayFest2015, and we’re all sharing some of our favorite things… why don’t we give away one of Mr. M’s! Just use the Rafflecopter app below for your chance to win!

I found a kale mint chip smoothie recipe, which I’d love to try first. Then something with espresso…

I’ve been doing very simple smoothies lately since I started Shakeology. Peanut Butter, Banana, Powder, Ice and Water. I’ve had it daily for 2.5wks.

It would have to be my usual–spinach, banana, coconut water, and strawberries!

I would make a smoothie.

I would make a post run smoothie since I am in the middle of training for two half marathons. I have struggled with getting something similar and I have the same issue that your husband had with the regular blender. Sometimes it’s just such a hassle. Glad he likes it :)

While I’d like to say the first thing I made would be a smoothie, I won’t lie to myself…it’d be a Margarita.
