on my desk… september 10, 2008
Due to the lack of a printer, some computer issues and a case of “oops, forgot about finishing that project”-itis, I never got around to sending out moving announcements.
However, I’m proud to say that they’re nice and done now!
The printing on the back bled only the tiniest bit (with no sealer!) and overall it was ridiculously easy to print on wood! Now our only hope is that they all arrive safely at their destinations through our trusty mail service!

Mr. M
I’m realizing that my role in life is to be your living post-it to cure “oops, forgot about finishing that project”-itis. :P

I think that’s a genius idea! Can I ask how you were able to print on wood? I can’t imagine you can do that with a “normal” printer…but I must know your secret!!

@erin –
It’s all about using a gocco! But… I’m sure you’d be able to screenprint on it or stamp as well!

Seriously, your completion of this project makes me so happy! It is by far the most awesome idea I have ever witnessed in announcements!

Ah…the gocco. Brings me back to my knot days! Someday, I’ll have some discretionary cash to buy one AND a craft room to house one. Until then, I’ll dream….
