through the woods to Grandmother’s house we go
This past weekend, Miss L and I took a drive into the mountains with Mom and Dad L to visit my Grandma on a pre-Thanksgiving Day trip.
Despite all of our busy lives and crazy directions that pull us different ways, it’s nice to have a reminder of how wonderful it is to spend time with family.
Miss L had fun playing “peek-a-boo” with Great Grandma, sharing crasins with her, playing with a pretty cloth dolly and singing some songs.
She even got to open up her Christmas presents a little early and “read” her little picture books!
And despite missing her nap and hallucinating and seeing “two horses” in the fields all the way home, Miss L had an absolutely wonderful visit. Maybe next time she visits she’ll get to play in the snow!

The four generations photo no doubt will be a family treasure! I also love L’s dress! So cute!
