afternoon tea
My new office has afforded me with a critical luxury: hot water. And with that magically warm substance comes the delight of having morning and afternoon tea.

My current tea lineup (on my office desk) include:
(I need to get rid of my green teas… because even though I crave them, they’re incredibly bad for my chi. Green tea is a cooling tea, and my chi needs warmth, so every sip is actually keeping my chi blocked…but every sip is just so gosh darn delicious!)
In order to step things up a notch or two from the old routine, I feel like I need to move away from the tea bags and towards my relaxing home tea pot scene. Meet my best friend at home, Mr. Bee House 15 oz:
What I really need to do is get some canned teas and buy myself a beautiful tea filter set like this:
For now I’ll guzzle down another dose of English Breakfast tea in my big ‘ol Disneyland mug and pretend I’m much more sophisticated than this!

Hey Kim!
I can definitely relate to this line “For now I’ll guzzle down another dose of English Breakfast tea in my big ‘ol Disneyland mug and pretend I’m much more sophisticated than this!” as I do the exact same thing every morning, big ‘ol DIsneyland mug and all!

Kim! I love your teapot! I am now a little obsessed with the aqua or kiwi color of it.
