the holiday card done right…
We started discussing the “what” of our holiday cards a few nights ago. Sure, we’re not crazy enough to have already posed for our perfect family photo with our favorite photographer while dressed in our color coordinated ensembles just yet… but what we’re planning is probably just as silly and fun. (hint: here was last year’s card)
What I can say, though, is that we’re definitely going to go with professional cards again this year just because I absolutely adored how well they came out! And, well, to be honest… I’m totally smitten with sending tinyprints.com cards year round, so why stop before the biggest card holiday of all?
I’m not sure if we’re going with bright and cheery and lots of photos…
…or subdued and wintery…
… or perhaps just classically Christmas all around?
Such silly little decisions to make about things that don’t matter too much in the grand scheme of the world, but make the holiday season just a little bit brighter with each trip to the mailbox.
My bff, Auds, told me that we might be setting ourselves up for high expectations from our holiday cards year after year… but I told her that the burden might be something fun to enjoy. I mean… it’s better than being known as the Grinch or engaging in neighborhood light wars? Right?
What about you? Do you have your holiday cards all set to go? Or at least an idea of what you’re going to do this year?

I bought a bunch of sets from MOMA last year. I’m ready to go. Actually, I need to double check addresses.

I just ordered our holiday cards from TinyPrints again this year! Was very pleased with them last year. We got the Retro Christmas design or something like that. Gotta love Tiny Prints!

we typically use costco for their photo cards. i think the quality is decent, the price is super low and it is super easy to create a card in about 10 mins or less. i can’t wait to see what you come up with this year – your card last year was AWESOME! happy friday kim!
